Hello everyone and welcome to my very first blog! I’m a little nervous so be gentle with me! Before we kick off I thought I best just pop on and tell you a little bit about myself and what I want to do. I have just turned 26! Not sure how my twenties are flying by so quickly. I’ve been married to the love of my life for nearly 2 years and we have 2-year-old little monster, Matilda. These two fill my life with love and joy that I never could have imagined.
I have always loved experimenting with makeup and a year and a half ago I made the decision to become a Younique presenter, and since then I have been 100% behind the brand, even so much so that I have started makeup artists course so I can share the love even further. However, over the last couple of months, the spark has disappeared and I have lost my love for something that has become such a big part of my life.
After a recent trip away to Harrogate, I had an epiphany! From now on I’m going to be my own person and do what makes me happy, so I am making the decision to step back from Younique and welcome in all the other glorious makeup brands the world has to offer. Combining this with all my new found makeup artist knowledge this will be a place for me to review, help and demo some of the newest beauty trends and share everything that I love with you. There will also be a little bit of fashion, food and interiors dabbled here and there. Basically, I’m treating you to an insider view to Anni’s brain.
